Game Update 2.8: Spoils Of War

My fellow Agents, do you miss the faceplant/ interrupt Hidden Strike? I know I do! Well, that's too bad because it's not back! :( But, they did bring back the interrupt that came with it! Great in PVE, extremely useful in PVP. And as I hear it, people are whining and moaning to have us nerfed... again... But, let's hope Bioware doesn't listen to the non-believers!

Anyways, without further ado, following is your Operative / Scoundrel friendly patch notes! Enjoy! :D

Game Update 2.6: Galactic Starfighter

Imperial Agent

•Jarring Strike now allows Hidden Strike to interrupt the target.
•Shadow Operative Elite now offers a 15/30 percent reduction in area of effect damage in addition to its other bonuses.
•Revitalizers now grants a 10/20 percent reduction in damage received while Stim Boost is active in addition to its healing effects.
•Fixed a bug that prevented Revitalizers from healing a fifth time.

Looking at the changes, there's really not too much that pertains to us as Concealment Operatives. We received a survival buff through the additional AoE reduction on the 7th tier talent Shadow Operative Elite. Not a huge deal.

Healing Operatives also got a marginal survival buff through the damage reduction while Stim Boost is active.

Other than that, and the major difference maker from the changes is bringing back the interrupt into Hidden Strike. Though not as enjoyable as seeing your prey faceplanting, (and damn was that fun!) it'll have to do. For PVE purposes, its' quite helpful by giving us back a second interrupt, along with our Distraction. But, the real difference maker here is in PVP.

Can you hear all the whining and moaning from the other classes out there? I can. They yell for an Office Space style nerf-bat assault. Let's hope that this call goes unheeded. I think we are in a good spot at this moment. If anything, we could use a wee-bit more of a damage buff for PVE purposes. But let's be real. It's not going to happen. So, let's just enjoy where we are!

Till next time, my stabby-stabby friends!
